By Order of the Queen Shipping Update

Hey all,
It's the end of July and I thought it would be a good idea to update you all on where we stand on shipping:
-
EU backers: Last word I received from the fulfillment center there was that they were getting the pallets of games to ship out on July 29th. I have sent messages to them for an update but I expect I will just hear that they are starting to ship them out to you all this week.

West Coast USA: We are finished shipping everyone's games from our studio north of Seattle, you should either already have your game or it should arrive soon.

Everyone Else: The shipping from China is finished and games should be in most of your hands. I have the tracking info for everything and I have found some issues with how most of the games were sent requiring a signature. I have emailed some of you with your tracking info (to your email that you used in Backerkit) and you can check with your local post office to get your game - in most cases you will have to go to that post office and pick it up.
I will finish with a copy-paste of our last update, so if you read the last one, TL:DR: thank you for sharing your experiences with By Order of the Queen on social media. =)

What is next for Junk Spirit Games?
Well, we have a lot going on. We're making a weird victory tour of gaming conventions, namely PAX West, PAX Unplugged, and Gencon. Hope to see you at any of those! Come by our booth for wicked high five. =)
I know I promised to share information with you all a while ago about our next game but there were some timing issues with another project. I can't say much right now other than to show you this image:
I'll give more details in a future update and posts on our website but the short part of the story is that we are very excited to bring this great game back into production with updated art from Justin Hillgrove and some additional gameplay to add to the strategy of Tyler Sigman's Crows.

By Order of the Queen Shipping Update - Spoke Too Soon Edition

Hey guys,
I wasn't planning on dropping an update until all shipping was finished, but something came up and I wanted to be super transparent about it.
The shipment to the EU area is going fine, and the ones on the boat to us in the Seattle area are fine, but I had originally reported that the ones to the fulfillment center in China should be shipping out right away, meaning that many of you backers would be getting your game within the next 2-3 weeks.
After some back and forth with the fulfillment center, it is clear that it won't be THAT fast. The biggest roadblock came up when they were processing the excel sheet of addresses and literally asked me, "You want these shipped in a box?"
My head tweaked and I had a STOP THE PRESSES moment as I asked to clarify what they meant. And as I dove down that rabbit hole I'm glad I stopped them because they were not going to set up extra packaging to protect your copies of By Order of the Queen. So I have had them order custom thick cardboard boxes and we are placing some plastic corner ....thingies.... over the corners like so:

They are black, so kind of hard to see, but these will make sure that the game gets to you guys in great shape. There is of course an extra cost involved, but as a relatively new KS creator, we're learning stuff each time!!! =)
Those custom boxes will take about 10 days to get to their warehouse and frankly there was a bit of massaging of the addresses (correcting them) that needs to be done.
All in all this means that everyone should still be getting their games near the end of July/beginning of August, just about 10 days later than we initially thought.

By Order of the Queen - Shipping Update!

Hey guys,
It's been almost a month since our last update and so much has happened I was waiting for the dust to settle to say something.
Top story here is that By Order of the Queen is finished manufacturing and is on the boats moving to fulfillment centers around the world. Yeah... we originally said October but we got so far ahead of schedule we never looked back. =)
When YOU individually will get your copy is entirely dependent on where you are in the world. This is based on the combination of shipping fulfillment centers that we are using around the world:
- If you are in Europe, a number of games were sent into the EU to a shipping fulfillment center, and you should be getting your game(s) in about 2 weeks. These games were air shipped to the center, so are moving a bit quicker.
- If you are on the West Coast of USA, we will be shipping those ourselves and you should be getting your games in about 4-5 weeks, as we have to wait for the games to get here by boat.
- If you are anywhere else, I am working with Send From China to get the games shipped to you as fast as possible. There are a bunch of hoops to jump through but we're trudging away, and we are hoping that that will mean these backers will get there games in about 4 weeks, or sooner.
All in all, everyone should have their game in hand by the end of July! I'll likely send out another update as this shipping gets fully finished, but if you do get your game, please shout out your happiness with the end product to the high heavens! Our small team could use the hype as we travel around to various conventions this year. =)

Box Insert in hand (with pics) and other stuff

Hey all,
We got our insert for By Order of the Queen in hand yesterday and we are very happy with the quality and how it turned out. You can see below, the first picture is the game without sleeves, and the second one is with all cards sleeved. Works perfectly. =)
And that extra space in the bottom left? Yeah....don't worry about that.... NOTHING TO SEE HERE.
Next Steps
We'll be meeting with our manufacturer via Skype in the next couple of days and signing off on this, meaning everything is good to go for final production. When they start going out we'll get another update (probably a video) explaining the timing of getting your copy into your home and everything else.
We received all of our Playmats from the manufacturer so we'll start sending all of the extras that many of you had ordered through the pledgemanager. If you are on the west coast of USA, we will wait to send these to you until we get the games in hand as we are going to self ship those (about 400).
