Two New Nemesis Monsters!

We just hit our $82,000 goal so we will be adding 2 new Nemesis monsters to increase the replay-ability of your games of By Order of the Queen.  =)

Justin wanted very badly to make a couple more Nemesis and here are the pieces of art for those two, the Chimera and the Ursin:

Also, over night we smashed out the Sideboard Graveyard:

This was a simple stretch goal that was suggested by some of our playtesters.  Often while playing By Order of the Queen you set a discard pile off to the side, and very rarely you'll need to access those set aside cards to either shuffle them back in or recover them and bring them back into the game.  It was always a bit of an awkward experience when that happened, so we made this sideboard to help keep things organized while you play:

WE ARE NOT USING A PLEDGE MANAGER!!

CAPS!!!!  It's important to note though.....we will NOT be using a pledge manager after the campaign.  So make sure that your pledge reflects exactly what you want for By Order of the Queen.  I understand that many people will put $1 in on a kickstarter campaign to reserve their spot and up their pledge later, but that won't be an option with this one, sorry.  After the campaign we will have an option to buy the game as a late backer, but we will likely be charging full shipping and the price will go up to MSRP.  (We may have a small grace period for late backers for a month or so)

That Coloring Book Stretch Goal is within reach!

I don't know of any other game, besides the Super Dungeon Explore Kickstarter campaign that included a physical Coloring Book in the core box.  In fact, I think that one was outside of the box and was a free fun add-on. Our coloring book will be inside the box, and it will contain the Lore of Tessandor, adding extra detail to the world of Tessandor and background for your games of By Order of the Queen.  We are crazy excited about this one, Justin did an amazing job on everything.

72 Hours to Go!

We just passed our 68k Stretch Goal, so with our other Variable Difficulty items, we will create a separate section in the rulebook with specific ways that you can make your games of By Order of the Queen harder for you and your game group.

....and just in case, we will add some difficulty variables that you can use to make your games easier as well.  =)

New Stretch Goals:

We have an opportunity to upgrade our tokens in the game to 2mm punchboard.  These are much thicker and have a great feel as you put them into place and use them during your games.

Then we will add 2 new Nemesis monsters to increase the replay-ability of By Order of the Queen.  These came about as a couple of ideas from our backers, so thank you for the ideas!!!

We have a lofty goal at $90,000 which will put a physical copy of the 52 page coloring book into the hands of every backer that buys a physical copy of By Order of the Queen.  This book is the Lore of Tessandor, packed with tons of story about individual heroes and the various races of Tessandor.  Additionally, many of the Heroes and monsters are featured on individual pages so they can be colored with your expert artistic abilities, or you can be like me and just make a huge mess.

Can we hit these Stretch Goals?

Based on what we have seen and what we are tracking on, we definitely think we can hit these goals.  We'll need your help though: 

Please mention the By Order of the Queen campaign in forums, facebook posts, or other social media as much as possible.  The best posts get people talking with discussion points or questions.  Tell people why you backed the game and what it is all about:

By Order of the Queen is approaching its final days....

Hey all,

We will soon be in our final 48 hours and there is always a bunch of insanity around that window of time in a campaign.

We've smashed out 16 Stretch Goals so far and have a few more on the horizon.  My small team does have some cool thoughts for our final push and we will make sure to post them before the true "48 hours to go" is up.

Don't the monsters look awesome?

It was one of our early stretch goals to have unique monster art for each card and Justin did what he normally does and creates amazing artwork.  The last time that you guys threw thumbs on our images we jumped to #9 on the hotness level on Boardgamegeek.com.  This will give us a huge boost on the campaign in our final hours, helping us hit those stretch goals.  =)

Production Samples of the Unlocked Dice

So much going on!!!

Hey guys,

I was going to wait until we hit our next Stretch Goal for an update but I JUST got these in hand:

Those are the production samples from our manufacturer.  They got here SUPER QUICK!  And they are awesome!  Initially we were going to go with flat orange dice but since we hit that Stretch Goal a couple weeks ago we will have these dice (10 of them) in each copy of By Order of the Queen.  The rounded edges and orange coloring really make them stand out.

We are pretty close to hitting $50k, and I'll go into detail on the other stretch goals as we get closer to them.  Most of them are pretty self-explanatory.

Justin Hillgrove Interview over at Analog Games

Justin speaks on his art style, his influences, and his work on games for Junk Spirit Games.  Check it out HERE.  You even posts the "Before" sketch of the By Order of the Queen cover.  It was great, then it became MAGIC.

New Heroes have arrived!

Alternative Art Heroes Unlocked

Hey all, we've hit the Stretch Goal at $46,000 early this morning.  This will unlock 8 Crossover characters from Justin Hillgrove's Imp Lands universe.

These characters will be Alternate Art Heroes that you can swap in (replace) for heroes in the normal Hero deck.  A Game of By Order of the Queen will always only start with 64 Heroes in the Hero deck.  Each Hero card will indicate which Hero it would replace in the deck if they are used.  Check the art out:

Upcoming - Monster Lieutenants

At $50,000 we will be adding 4 new Monsters that are optional to your games of By Order of the Queen.  They will make the game slightly harder as they require 2 dice and one of them has to be a 6.  Here is a mockup of on of the Lieutenants:

At the Halfway mark for the Campaign!

We are right around the halfway mark for the campaign and we are overwhelmed by the support we've received.  We have other Stretch Goal ideas and more coming, we're looking forward to showing you all what this team can do.  =)
