More Stretch Goals unlocked!

Since our last update we unlocked 9 new Event Cards and we are about to unlock the Lore of Tessandor PDF for all our backers.

The 9 Event Cards are part of our Variable Difficulty measures for By Order of the Queen.  The event cards represent half of the Event card stack and if desired, you will swap them in for the cards of the same type before your game to make By Order of the Queen more difficult.

The Lore of Tessandor book is something we thought would be fun and Justin's done an amazing job putting it together.  All backers will be sent the Full PDF shortly after the campaign but you can see our sample HERE.

Upcoming Stretch Goals:

We've unlocked a ton already, but here are the next two we are revealing today:

$46,000 - 8 Crossover Heroes for Imp Lands

For this Stretch Goal, we will be adding 8 New Crossover Heroes to swap into your games of By Order of the Queen for extra variety and Imp Lands flavor.  This Stretch Goal will be Free to all of our backers, but will be included in the expansion pack as a separate item after the campaign.

$50,000 - 4 New Difficult Lieutenant Monsters

We've had some great feedback for our Variable Difficulty ideas for By Order of the Queen.  We want people to be able to play the game at a difficulty level that feels right to them.  So to make the game harder, we will include 4 New Lieutenant Monsters that are hard to defeat.  You'll simply add them into the monster stack at the beginning of a game to make your By Order of the Queen session harder to complete.

The Original Inked Drawing Pledge Level

Just really quick, I wanted to post this because some people have asked about how this pledge level works.  Justin has kept his original drawings of the Heroes (most of which were drawn on 11x8.5 cardstock) and that is what is included with your copy of By Order of the Queen.  Here is a sample pic of some of them:

Unique Monster Art Stretch Goal Unlocked!

$37,500 Stretch Goal Unlocked

Another Stretch Goal down and now we have unique art for every monster card in the game.  Also, Justin will let me live and is now happy that we got this addition into the game.  Check out some of the new monsters:

There are 40 monster cards and having each one look completely different with a unique title adds a good amount of extra flavor to the game so this is great.  Thank you to everyone for helping out as you can, sharing By Order of the Queen's Progress with your friends and social networks.  =)

4 New Queen's Orders! + More Stretch Goals

The Queen's New Orders have arrived

Since we hit our $32,000 Stretch Goal, we will be adding 4 New Queen's Orders.  This will bring the count to 16, so these 4 new cards will add to the variety and replay-ability of your games of By Order of the Queen.  Additionally, these cards are FREE to our backers but will be sold separately at a later date.

New Stretch Goals on the Horizon!

We've got a lot coming out for Stretch Goals on this campaign, so we appreciate anything that you all can do to help us get the word out.  Here are our next four Stretch Goals:

$34,000 - Upgraded Dice

Right now the dice that we have for By Order of the Queen are flat orange resin dice with black pips.  If we hit $34,000 we will be upgrading these dice to look more like the picture below.  We'll be using the Orange set you see there, but we will have black pips and obviously that M will actually be 6 pips.  (the pic is from our manufacturer)  That swirl pattern is what we are talking about, with the more rounded corners, making rolls a bit more fun as well.

$37,500 -  Unique Monster Art

Currently there are 40 monsters in the monster deck and there are multiple repeats of certain pieces of art.  This has been bugging Justin because he doesn't like reusing art and FOR MY SAFETY you guys gotta help us get to $37,500 on our campaign.  Once we hit this goal, every Monster Card will have unique art.

$40,000 - 9 New Difficult Event Cards 

At this Stretch Goal, we will add 9 new Event Cards for Free to our backers.  These Event cards will be swapped out at the beginning of the game to make the game harder for anyone up to the challenge.  This is part of our "Variable Difficulty" series of upgrades for By Order of the Queen.

$42,500 - The Lore of Tessandor PDF

FREE to all our backers ONLY (As a KS Exclusive) we will have "The Lore of Tessandor - A By Order of the Queen Coloring Book" in PDF form.  Besides being a great coloring book, it will also be packed with lore and information on the heroes and monsters in the world of Tessandor.  Check out the example page below.  We may be making a physical copy of this book at some point, but the PDF version (so you can print out pages as much as you want) will only be available to our backers.

Henchmen Cards Start our Variable Difficulty Additions

Henchman have been unlocked for By Order of the Queen

Since we crossed the $30,000 threshold, we will now be adding our first addition to offer Variable Difficulty through By Order of the Queen.  The Henchman will be given for free to all backers during the campaign, but will be available separately after the campaign.

These guys will make the game slightly easier, if you include them as a starting bonus for all players.  They work to give an automatic success to a Location Card's Test.  Also....they look like this:

More Stretch Goals are on their way, and more will be offered to allow players to Vary the Difficulty of a By Order of the Queen game.  Stay Tuned!
